I led the 5.4 crack (bring two #4s if that’s your thing!), and LAK pulled some hardo move to a self created finish about 30 feet into the right traverse. Apparently, we should have gone left after the chimney part?

Jun 24, 2023 · 4 pitches. Lead. I led p1, 2 and most of 3. shenanigans. Basically LGC led 1/3 of p3? Most important beta: Beware the raps!! We got our ropes stuck on *both* of them, and had to lead climb back up to get them. For rap 2, we basically re climbed up to the tat anchor, then downclimbed again. Smh. Last exit out of the fin was spooky and fun after the fact. Crack was sweeeeet. P1 was the hardest, imo, wasn’t a fan of the pro. Whoever said p2 crack had tricky pro—what? it’s all there and easy to sew up.

Guidebook said this whole climb was PG—besides that one spot, felt G to me? Easy to miss the belay spot for the traverse pitch 4! Don’t go to the top of the p3 chimney!
