Description Suggest change

Another cool top rope route on the right wall of the alcove. This one gets 5.10c in the book, maybe it’s just more in my style, but I found it to be substantially easier and more fun than Offshore Crack, which is given the same grade. Start as from Offshore, where a large boulder meets the wall, following a series of hollow flakes. Step left onto the boulder to a stance, and contemplate the traverse. Move right, passing a cruxy move to the beckoning jug shelf, then follow a fun and burly layback crack to the top.

Shares the same start as Offshore Crack.

Protection Suggest change

Top rope. The top crack would take gear, but you’d essentially be soloing through the crux to your first pro.
