Description

Another moderate option in the Alcove, and one of the easiest ways to set a top rope on Pipe Dreams. Be prepared for a little bit of lichen and climbing above your gear.

Start up High Wire and move up the left side of flake instead of the right. The gear is better than it looks from below. Underling and layback left until you can kick a foot into the corner. Stem up through a thin section and follow more moderate terrain to the top. Traverse a pine needle covered ledge to the bolted anchor of Pipe Dreams.
