Hidden Gully
Dec 28, 2026 · Lead. Climb and ski descent with Dominic. Super awesome adventure. Led the bottom ice flow in one long pitch, then a second pitch through the notch to the bolts. Skied the upper amphitheater, briefly transitioned to crampons and rapped from the bolts. Skied the middle section and rapped with skis on from the second lowest tree. 80m rope just barely reached the snow with stretch. Skiing out with the 80 was really something lol.

Great Madness
Dec 16, 2025 · With John, I led the pitch one slab, he led the business. Second pitch is really cool and pumpy. Got screaming barfies bad up high. Beautiful sunny day in Crawford.

Easy Gully
Dec 14, 2025 · Solo. Ski descent with Ethan and Dominic. Full face shots in some of the deepest powder I’ve skied in the east. Very thin snow with lots of sharks on the exit. Damn wind!

Nov 30, 2025 · Solo. So spectacular. Woke up at 11:45pm for the alpine start. The initial trail and snow walk were a grind in the dark. Epic sunrise with an inversion helped summon the stoke. The view from the summit over the volcanic crater was heavenly. Only the highest summits pierced the clouds. Skied from the 19,000 foot summit almost all the way back to the hut.

Nov 28, 2025 · Solo. After 3 days of acclimatizing and waiting out bad weather, we got an unexpected, unforecasted clearing. We skinned up a variation of the normal route with wild seracs and crevasses, then skied the cleanest panel from the summit. Epic, rewarding adventure!

El Chaupi Route
Nov 23, 2025 · Solo. Second acclimatization hike. Felt much better this time with no headache or lightheadedness, but it took a while to work up my appetite. Had lots of good chats with Fatima and Brennan. Summit was socked in and rain made the mud gully at the bottom very slippery.
