Description Suggest change

Really? There’s a route there? You know it! It’s in the guidebook and everything. This one is short, heady and a little lichenous. Definitely only worth doing once.

Start up Grendal but move left after the block to a small ledge beneath a vertical wall, split by a very thin crack. A good cam at your feet would keep you off the ground, but the gear above here is thin and shallow. Stitch up a nest of micro nuts and pull onto the face. Shallow pods provide some ok micro cam placements as you crimp your way up. Make a tricky reach to a good jug and mantle to a stance, and follow a short crack to rejoin Grendal.

The face just left of Grendal with a thin crack splitting it.

Gear from 0.1 to #3, doubles in micro cams. Brass nuts.
