Description Suggest change

This is the left bolted line on the shady slab to the left of Southern Fried Chute. While it appears to live up to its name from below, fear not there is plenty of holds and gear after the bolts!

Undercling out right to the base of the low roof. Bust out the roof on good holds and pull onto the slab above. This can be protected with a #4 cam or by stick clipping the first bolt. Continue up the technical slab past two more bolts (crux). Just as you think you’re out of options, a move out right gains you a hidden jug rail (gear). Follow moderate flakes and a finger crack above to a bushy ledge. Romp up the final slab to the bolted anchor of Sea Gypsy.

Lower or rap with a single 60, or continue up any of the high quality routes above.

Location Suggest change

Up the hill from the Chitlen’s Corner area, look for a slab with two bolted lines, the rightmost is Side Street, the left is Road To Nowhere.

Protection Suggest change

Gear to #1, 3 bolts. Single #4 to gain the first bolt or stick clip.
