Description Suggest change

Following the trend of beautiful corners with bolted aretes, we have Popeye’s Arete. This one is a little less slabby than the others, requiring you to bear down on some small holds. Start down and right of Emigrant Crack, and pull onto a right trending flake with finger sized gear available in pods. Traverse left to the first bolt. Wild moves with big reaches lead to a good hold and the second bolt. Hard crimping on the arete leads to a series of moderate flakes to the top.

Protection Suggest change

Gear to 0.5 and 2 bolts. Gear in the opening flake is slightly tricky, but the crux is well protected. Can be easily top roped after leading Emigrant Crack.
