I got pumped after placing gear and was too scared to clip the rope to it so I grabbed the cam to lower myself/down climb a bit to my last piece to take. As I was grabbing it doing lowering myself I hit the trigger and my cam popped!!! Took a huge whip

Mini epic on first pitch where David went off route on left and kept falling on bolt trying to get to next bolt. Followed hangers instead of glue ins on the right. Eventually realized wrong way. Had to lower to ground and pull rope bc he didn’t feel comfortable traversing from left route. As I followed had to unclip from correct right route, downclimb then go up sketchily unprotected the left route torecover gear then traverse back.
