A burly roof move near the top makes for some tense moments even for seasoned 5.9 leaders.

Start at a long right-facing corner and follow a hand crack to a sizeable flat roof. Pull the roof and move up over easier ground past more roofs to the top.

Starts a short distance past Prerequisite for Excellence, 10' right of Sunday Gardening.

Small to medium gear; sling it well to avoid rope drag. Bolted anchors.

Wow... what a roof move! Cool combo of bouldering and crack climbing skills to pop over that one. Feb 12, 2007

I think this route is super classic. Good chill crack to start, great gear, one of the most exciting roof moves I've ever done and it's all there! You just need to nut up. Super fun climb! Jan 20, 2015

Holy sandbag, that roof move is hard. Nothing a little triedhard can't accomplish. Pro is prefect and the fall is clean. Nov 23, 2018
