Description Suggest change

A nice and quaint, but short lived face to arete on ample, and sometimes delicate features. Take care pulling and standing on the crenelated horns through the crux sequences. Once established at a small pine tree the difficulty eases to easy and dirty 5th class to a massive tree anchor.

Gear is decent but some of the horizontal slots are hollowed out, so take care how you place the cams. The opening sequence to the next gear is mildly spicy.

Location Suggest change

20' to the right of the corner Fake Slug Trail (5.8) look for a featured face with horizontal slots and an obvious arete. Start on the face and work over to the arete, aiming for a 3' pine tree about 45' off the ground.

Protection Suggest change

Standard T-wall with a few extra finger pieces. Same anchor as Fake Slug, a tied off tree.
