Dec 1, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. I never bothered ticking this, but I got a new outlook on keeping track of what I do so I'm going back and ticking this thang. When I first did it I did the 5.10 X. Honestly, looking back at it after climbing at stone mountain in Georgia. It wadn't shit. haha I am joking it is pretty dangerous. Serious consequences if you fall. Runout isn't terribly long, you do eventually get a .4 cam in a crack and maybe super marginal small cams prior to that? There's also the bolt which you can clip. I wouldn't recommend this for a new leader. Instead go further right. There's a similarly protected (which means no pro) route to the right. The difference is that it aint no 5.10 haha. So unless your sendy go easy on yourself and just push your mental instead of shitting yourself.

Nov 16, 2025 · Lead. Lead from the last bolt Fun you can bump from the mono on the third bolt to a rail. Funnily enough in my opinion this isn’t the hardest move as you have to do a pull-up essentially campusing or using feet that are marginal and could pop since they’re glass. Either way you’re stressing your fingers a ton because you know your feet are bad. After that it eases up like crazy.

Nov 16, 2025 · Lead. Just lead after the 3rd bolt to finish. Felt pumpy, only moves that felt insecure and slippery were after the third bolt / the ones you are using to clip the third bolt. Last moves after are sharp ledges that you can pull on to finish. That part is pumpy. Not sure if I could lead it without pumping out. As of rn my endurance is cooooked.

Jun 22, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Mid route. There’s a lot of potential for decking or hitting brush / tree. Definitely not good for a first time leader; even though it is easy beware, it does take a good amount of commitment. The start does not have much protection. If you go a little more to the left you can place a small offset nut in a crack. Continue up and you can find a tricam placement or potentially a small cam? Then you will need to work your way left where there is more options for larger placements like a hex or a cam. If you choose to get to this ledge without going left though you do not have any options for protection for the first 9 feet. The rest of the climb is well protected, but not necessarily a 5.4 by NRG standards imo.

Oct 26, 2024 · TR. 6 takes/2-3 falls. Strength-endurance. Not too fingery. Big moves, not a climb you could do statically- at least not efficiently. Three cruxes: 1. First crux at the third bolt. Dead point move with side pull. 2. Second crux, at the 6th bolt alot of work with your right foot pulling as you bump underclings with tension. 3. Third crux. Clipping chains. Me & my partner could not continue even with aiding. Alot of loose rock, would not recommend rappeling down. The route is not clean yet and you should make sure your should are not new. New, cold rubber does not bode well for the sharp slab that is the majority of the climbing. Overall this wasn't fun.
