Follow existing trails and climb using removable protection or in climbing areas with existing approved fixed anchors or bolts. Development of any new rock climbing, bouldering or rappelling areas and development of any climbing routes involving the permanent installation of new fixed anchors or new trail construction requires prior Forest Service authorization.

Description

Souder's Crack is the direct line below the anchors of Rock Wars. Start up as for Rock Wars, but stay left, heading straight up the flake as it gets more difficult.

This route would be very dangerous to lead, as it would be a solo for the first 50' of 5.9 climbing and would rely on very small gear for the crux up high. Probably best to TR this unless you've got it dialed.
