Meadow Top Bouldering Suggest change

Like its roped climbing counterpart below, Meadow Top offers extensive and excellent bouldering.  The boulder field is almost the same length as the cliff below– with two large clusters of boulders separated by a small drainage.  Be aware that certain boulders are at the very edge of the cliff line.  This is arguably the largest concentration of boulder problems in the area and is a great place to climb circuits and just get mileage in.  

Please keep a low profile as the climbing community does not have guaranteed access to this area.

PLEASE USE THE DESIGNATED PARKING LOT ON DIETZ ROAD.  

DO NOT PARK ON HIGHWAY OR BLOCK ATV TRAILS.  YOU RISK BEING TOWED

The following driving directions are described from Fayetteville, after crossing the Meadow River Bridge, as you drive north from Fayetteville, take the first left onto Underwood Rd and then turn left again onto Dietz Road. A small gravel lot is available for parking, though it will only hold about 20 vehicles. Please park conservatively, choose to carpool, and arrive early for weekend access. From the gravel lot, continue hiking uphill on Dietz Road (approximately 100 yards) and turn left on an apparent ATV trail. Follow this trail for 5-10 minutes as it trends gently downhill through the forest. When the path splits, a narrow trail on your right leads to the ultra-popular cliff-top bouldering known as Meadow Top.
