Felt insecure and unlike a sport climb with several straight up obligate crack sections where there was no choice but to foot jam. Dan persuaded/inspired me to try a second time which was good for me given as I'm never thrilled to try insecure shit feeling shit more than once

Oct 4, 2025 · Lead / Fell/Hung. for beta, at bolt two - left foot jam low and then higher right foot jam and then commit, first time up I slowly dragged left foot up; at third bolt, cross right hand over onto what becomes above the left face of the crack - there is a hold with a teeny thumb catch, and then high step right foot up onto a foot in/on the crack; right above that you'll be leaned over to the left; trick is to securely place left hand in the crack so that you can cross feet and advance
