Mar 19, 2026 · Lead. Definitely involved. W/ Alesha. Overall OK. Pitch 2 was the best by far. Think we started in the wrong spot for pitch 1. Pitch 3 turned into 4 class scrambling, then another pitch of 4th class scrambling. Then Alesha quested up this dirt corner, kinda bullshit. I then took us to the left, exiting via a few boulders to get to the descent (pretty much all 4th class). Thought I was off route multiple times, since I barely read anything about the 4th class??? Definitely an alpine adventure style climb, not consistent at the grade.

It was a solid day, just a little wild how it was challenging for me.. the slab made my legs burn. I got lowered from top of 7 to top of 6 by Sean, then we rapped a single pitch to top of 5. Then, we rapped all the way to top of 2, then we rapped to the ground. Tagline necessary (obviously)

Dec 13, 2025 · 5 pitches. Lead. Led p1, Ben combined 2&3, I climbed 4&5, I missed the anchors, unfortunately. For p4, I traversed over what felt like very high (it was very chill) and it led to some rope drag, you probs can traverse lower and reduce drag) For the top anchors- Immediately to the left of the corner system are the anchors. So be aware for next time. I overclimbed, had to built an anchor, and luckily Tyler was fixing and following so on his way up found the anchors. I rappelled down and Ben down climbed, a little hairy but I placed gear for him on the down climb. Route is fun!!! Moments of bad rock but rock is good when it matters.

Nov 1, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. Lead 1, &3. 1, set up a semi hanging belay right below the steep chimney start of p2. P1 .75 airy stem box compression move kept my attention. P3 start step around also kept me on my toes. Glad to have brought the 4. P2 on follow was pretty hard, physical lay back, and the 5.7 variation to p4 following was also not super easy. You can top out by beach whaling onto the slab from a block, not hard but awkward, Ben walked around a block and rope drag was really bad, so probs better to beach whale the small block if finishing on the 5.7 corner. It was a fun time, but also hot- this route was in the sun the whole time.

Oct 25, 2025 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Lead half of it…? Built anchor halfway up on the way down from the other 5.9, which made me feel extra chill for the low crux - which I went clean through both times, just pull through the side pull, although that’s where I would place gear, so leading would be kinda uninspiring bc I think I need that handhold, but I would like that micro cam. But otherwise, took once on the top section double cracks, was super duper fun!

Sep 14, 2025 · Lead. Lead 2+ half of 3, 6 Very much off route a lot. I did the 5.7(felt rly easy) hand crack variation of pitch two, and then went a bit above the boulder field (the end of the pitch in the topo), and set the belay at a small bush/tree. Ben led the obvious slab corner (which was off route- we could see the pitons mentioned to our left in another crack), but the crack was calling our name and felt so natural. Ben continued straight up- completely off route- but everything was really good pro, amazing flakes and jugs. He used all the rope so I had to break down my anchor and climb up the ramp to give him a bit more before he built a belay at a very nice horn. At this point we had no idea where were were but I quested up what would be most likely the 6th pitch, according to the topo, because it was very much an imposing roof that you had to get over. This variation was fun! 5.7, maybe a few 5.8 moves, and I would do it this same way again. It feels like the natural line.
