Description

Route starts on some face, moves to a flake, which turns into a beautiful dihedral. After topping out on the dihedral traverse right on slab towards a crack system. Head straight up the crack where you'll find some great finger jams.

Location

Can rap to ground on a single 70m. Otherwise, rap to intermediate anchor on Machine Gun Jumblies before rapping to ground.

Protection

16 bolts

You can rap/lower from the top with a 70 meter rope. Jul 20, 2009
We even lowered using a 60m, but only just barely with rope stretch. Dec 1, 2013

Really fun route. Definitely a few loose/hollow large blocks on this one. Jun 12, 2017

Super classic! I found clipping the bolt near the top of the first crux corner to be really awkward. I think next time I'll take a cam and just plug it in. I should haul in some gear and do most of it trad. : ) More sustained than its awesome neighbor. Jun 7, 2018
