Oct 17, 2024 · TR. First climb out of the car day 2 of our trip out here. Left foot really hurt and hands were pumped from yesterday. A couple takes and lowered right before the roof. Just didn’t have it in me, better luck next time.

Oct 16, 2024 · TR. One take at the top right before top out. Shoes were tied to tight so toes were hurting. Got stuck in an awkward position and couldn’t progress. Wasn’t a huge fan but I climbed it with kind of junk style. Overhung in a corner with face moves on the right.

Oct 12, 2024 · TR. Fun crack system. A couple takes, one due to a bee in my face as soon as I went into a layback near the top. Def a bunch of good handjams on this one. It changes through a corner as well, a runner on the 4th draw helps. Jugged the start off the first draw because it’s thin and cruxy, fun starts after that.

Oct 6, 2024 · 1 pitch. Follow. Stressful belay with Claire, last bolt to anchor stalled her for a while but she found her way through and grabbed musseys to clip. The traverse was heady on lead for her. I was in a bad mood following because I immediately had to take to figure out a move and I was still stressed. Got to the top with no more takes and probably would have enjoyed the traverse across the slab if I was in a better mood. I’m just going to get ice cream and watch the dawn wall tonight. Sometimes it just be like that.

Jun 10, 2024 · TR. One take. Right ring finger was numb from pinched nerve after sending v6 project yesterday. Was supposed to rest today but got up this one. Took one take because finger nerve issue but got to the top and cleaned the mussey. Fun climb, mostly secure, lots of rests, a few spicey moves with the finger issue.

Jun 9, 2024 · Bumping the left hand into a palm mantle a few inches up made the reach to the finishing crimps much easier for me. The finish moves feel impossible until you do it once then it feels much more doable.

May 26, 2024 · TR. Fun climb, .75 into 1’s then 2’s at the top all in a corner. Toes really hurt and had to keep taking for them. Shoes are too tight. Jams felt great and technique is definitely improving. Had to take at the top roof because of toes so I lowered through it and redid it. Someone also commented on my body at the base and said I look like I’ve been in the creek more than anyone out here

May 24, 2024 · TR. First climb of the night and did it with a headlamp. Night climbing is fun. Small freak out when a big spider was on a key hold at the bottom. Took some takes as today was supposed to be a rest day and this got me pumped. I think I’m a fan of 3’s. Had all the fun and cleaned it but left ankle kept getting really sore.
