Please refrain from blocking the road, yield to oncoming mining vehicle traffic, and be careful of rockfall and icefall. Please share the road to minimize future access issues with the road's multiple user groups.

Description
After a wet fall, significant cold, and before much snow accumulation, this route may form where runoff from the road escapes at the top of the switchback. Climb 30 - 40 feet of easy ice to 2 bolts on the right. Good for beginner toprope or lead practice sessions, though it could be thin.
Location
This route boasts the shortest approach of any ice climb in Colorado. Park in the usual spot and walk over to the gate. If formed, this route is obvious on the left wall below the switchback, 50 feet ahead. It's left of the creek, where another very short ice runnel may form early in the season.
