Description Suggest change

Pride is the Devil links features to the left of Bird Brain Boulevard with lots of questy face and slab in between. Its moderate grade is not to be taken lightly. It's very runout. Conditions will vary incredibly with snow. You reaaally want the moss to be frozen. Conditions for the FA were very snowy (see the photos), which made some sections easier, some harder. If you repeat this route, I recommend bringing a drill kit. Add bolts if you feel too "out there". We don't care, just don't get hurt. The climbing is good, and most of the rock is good by Dark Side standards. You need good piton skills for this one. Ya gotta place 'em on lead and for anchors. The route tops out about 50' short of BBB, but it also starts a bit lower. It makes me think the height of BBB is slightly overestimated, or we've underestimated this route.

My pitch descriptions didn't save. I will re-upload that soon.

Start in the right of two grooves left of Bird Brain Boulevard.

Protection Suggest change

A double rack #0.2-3, 1 #4, and nuts. We took 2 angle pitons (short and long), 4 peckers of various sizes, 1 DMM Bulldog (specter), and 1 DMM Terrier (mini-specter). We placed all of it.
