Revenue and Camp Bird Mines have resumed mining activities further up Camp Bird Rd. A new sign posted in February 2013 caused some tension as described in:
watchnewspapers.com/view/fu…
Please refrain from blocking the road, yield to oncoming mining vehicle traffic, and be careful of rockfall and icefall. Please share the road to minimize future access issues with the road's multiple user groups.

Description
This small chunk of ice is found way up the hillside 600 feet above Skillet's Revenge (the upper pitch of Chockstone Chimney). Climb easy ice for 50 feet to a large tree on the right, or top out and continue farther up to more trees.
In low snow, this might be an enjoyable cardio addition to Chockstone Chimney.
Location
Climb Chockstone Chimney (including Skillet's Revenge), then continue up the hill to the northwest for 600 vertical feet, negotiating a short cliff band en route. The climb is located at 37.98143, -107.71876.
