Lots of the gear was fixed so we basically went sport climbing
It was a rough start with me needing to use intermediate belays on the first 13a in the westie face and the slab pitch, didn’t send the 13d pitch till dark, and then fought to the top, had to sort out the broken wing on the go but it worked out. Amazing route, all the pitches are spectacular. Happy to have gotten to do it during our limited time in the valley

Oct 19, 2024 · Lead / Redpoint. So good! Can’t believe I had never been on it, a bit of a squeeze but so worth while! Especially with the independent finish. One try in June and then second try today! Starting to feel a bit fitter again! Feels a solid grade harder than drill Sargent, would maybe lean towards 13b but a softer one

Went up and sorted the beta at the top and it made way more sense to got left to the jug earlier with right hand on the basketball, the way climbing up to clip the bolt feels henious and haughty dependent and reaching left feels super natural and in sequence. Ends with a dyno to a jug, pretty sweet. 2 tries this year toproped once a few years ago I think
