I am hoping to try this route Saturday. Question: from the belay station for pitch 3, is it possible to repel to the ground, or will I need to repel to the pitch two belay station first? May 23, 2018

For the descent, we rapped down to the first anchor but I think the guidebook says you can rap from the second anchor to the ground using a 60m rope. Definitely would be preferable to what we did as if you lost your footing trying to traverse while rappelling to the first station, you could swing out pretty far to the left and then just be hanging in space.
