Description Suggest change

Climb up a short face, move into a chimney and follow the offwidth/slab up.

Mr. Hubbel lists this climb as Easy Offwidth. I believe this is the start for East Side Story as listed on this website. I am listing it separate because there are not many climbs at this grade here. We enjoyed this climb more than Easy Chimney and Sangaphogos on the Perch. The descent is quite adventurous for the grade.

Location Suggest change

It is located on the east end of Turkey Tail (sunny side). Walk past Double Trouble and look for a wide crack next to a large, right-facing dihedral. There is also a pine tree on a ledge just right of the route. To descend, downclimb approximately 10 feet on the north side. Head west along a crack until you meet a chimney (we belayed here). Downclimb the chimney and scramble around the east end back to the start. We thought this descent was third class to low fifth. We roped up.

Protection Suggest change
