Aug 5, 2021 · 6 pitches. Lead. Helluva day w/ Avery. Woke up at 5 and hiked into the cirque from big sandy lake area, set up camp, and set off around 9:30. Got to the base of the route around 12, reached north summit at 3, didn’t go to south summit because rain clouds were approaching. Rope management on the way down was a nightmare, double ropes and wicked winds, fortunately the rain passed by leaving us untouched save a few drops here and there. Got down relatively quickly, almost didn’t have to get out the headlamps but struggled a bit to find our tent. Slept really fucking well
