Sep 17, 2023 · 2 pitches. Lead / Onsight. Lead rope solo. Glad I brought a rope for this one. Start of the second pitch was pretty sandbagged, IMO. I was expecting similar difficulty to west face, but that steep finger lock lieback section was way harder than 5.5 (super fun though-expect 5.7 difficulty) Also, right above the finger locks is hella styrofoamey, to the point where I thought I was off route, then got off route looking for the correct way, then had to downclimb back to the styrofoam to carefully pick my way up to the anchors. Expect styrofoam and a short sandbagged section if you go ropeless on this one.
