Description Suggest change

Climb through the loose band to the roof, and work left onto the blank face passing the crux at the last bolt.

Location Suggest change

This route is at a separate crag WNW from the Bulge Wall. Get there by hiking along the cliff band past a tall crag with a lone old bolt. There is not much of a trail as of yet. Locate the panel with an orange, right-facing corner. This is the middle route.

Of note, Rick Thompson's 2020 Shelf Road Rock erroneously has this crag pictured as the Phenomenology Wall. As it stands, this route corresponds to route number 2 (Abscessed Words to Climb) in his book. Phenomenology Wall is much further up canyon requiring much more bushwhacking.

Protection Suggest change

5 bolts to Mussy hooks.
