Description Suggest change

Stem your way up the corner past three bolts, then work right onto the face. Follow the bolts up and left to the anchors. The rock quality deteriorates after the last bolt.

Location Suggest change

This route is at a separate crag WNW from the Bulge Wall. Get there by hiking along the cliff band past a tall crag with a lone old bolt. There is not much of a trail as of yet. Locate the panel with an orange, right-facing corner. This is the route furthest left.

Of note, Rick Thompson's 2020 Shelf Road Rock erroneously has this crag pictured as the Phenomenology Wall. As it stands, this route corresponds to route number 1 (Armies of Metaphors) in his book. Phenomenology Wall is much further up canyon with much more bushwhacking.

Protection Suggest change

6 bolts to anchor bolts with Mussy hooks.
