This route was originally named The Dave Lanman Route after Dave Lanman. I changed the name of the climb as well as some others of people who climbed because I figured these people have their own climbs, no need for me to introduce new climbs with their names on them when they are building their own history. Since Dave passed away I felt, in this case, I should change it to include his name as a tribute to him. It has a little bit of a twist to it now, that I think he would find amusing. Dave was a great guy to talk to and to get to know, he was very cool and laid back. Although at times if you did something that was uncool he would be the first to let you know. RIP Dave, you will be missed. Feb 3, 2018
