Description
The Central Wasatch is home to some of the most diverse collection of canyons and crags. The Central Wasatch hosts the two iconic Cottonwood Canyons, as well as a number of other smaller canyons around Salt Lake. With Salt Lake as it's hub, the areas listed here contain some of the most accessible crags around as well as the most remote climbing destinations. The experience here can be described as "Epic!" given your age, but the overall median of satisfaction remains very high.
Every aspect of climbing is in abundance here, from aid to ice and everything in between. All forms of climbing are represented in the Central Wasatch. So bring equipment for one discipline or the whole kitchen sink!
