Jul 30, 2023 · Lead / Onsight. Alarm clock at 1:30, left car/parking lot around 3:15, started climbing at 6:15, submitted at 10:30. Usual alpine climbing stuff. Ran into couple of issues when rappelling however. Rope pulled but jammed on a horn, and had to basically solo a bit to free. On another rappel rope got completely stuck and had to Prussic a full rope length. Need to be more careful managing rappelling in the future. Back to car around 4:30 and back home before 6:00.

Crux sequence is like right hand think hand jam under the roof, right foot swing out right, right hand bump to jug. Match. Left hand intermediate and bump up to jug. Match. Place gear high. Maybe #2 or #1, or 0.5 below. Right foot high, right hand high finger lock. Stand up and layback on good crack. Manage pump rest of the route.

After the traverse, left hand Gaston on the good hold in crack, right hand pinch /under cling, right foot move really high right below under cling, right hand up in crack jam/layback, left hand high to jug.
