Description
4 stars is not a high enough rating for this Super-Mega-Classic endurance test piece! Aegialis starts up large tufas offering several good rests for the first 30' but the real endurance feast comes next with wildly overhanging moves up smaller tufa fins. Although the guidebook gives this route a grade of 7c (12d) excessive use of kneebars offers numerous semi-rests through the meat of the route and probably drops the grade to 7b+. Either way pump management is the name of the game!
