Description Suggest change

Start with a short step of WI2 that gains a bowl of snow and plenty of belay options. The crux pitch is WI3 M3-4 and is protected with a Lost Arrow. The next pitch goes under a chockstone to gain a couple hundred feet of easy mixed terrain to the top of the buttress and trail.

Location Suggest change

This is the first route you encounter while descending towards Snorkmaiden and Mini Micro in a obvious gully/couloir. Walk out to the Chicago Basin overlook from Summit Lake and descend down into the valley trending West. The approach time 20-40 minutes.

Protection Suggest change

Alpine rack, 3-4 ice screws. Knife blades and Lost Arrows are key.
