Another route with big sculpted holds, Breaking the Sabbath offers another easy option on the right side of Prophecy Wall. Shares the start with the left variation of Sticky Revelations and trends left to the start of the Book of Revelations variation.

At the bottom of the right side of the Wall, find a wide gentle solid-rock platform which is just right of 25-ft-tall detached pillar.
Start on that rock platform about ten feet right from the right side of the pillar, below a bolt.
Start is shared with the route "Sticky Revelations". Above the first bolt (where "Sticky Revs" goes up trending slightly right), this route goes diagonal left.

See line M in this Photo or line J in this Photo.

Fun climb and great access route to book of prophecy. I actually combined the 2 for a long fun climb. Just use lots of long runners to decrease rope drag. Nov 29, 2011

This is the 3rd bolt line from the right. Starts in a corner next to a large pillar. Route splits after the first bolt. L-->Breaking the Sabbath and R-->1st pitch of Sticky Revelations. Feb 10, 2017

I'm confused, is the there really only 1 pitch to this route? If it's the one I'm thinking of, it looks like it goes on and joins with Sticky Revelations at the top of P2. Any help? May 6, 2017

Breaking the Sabbath is the bolted line that breaks left from the Start of Sticky Revelations. The trad line in the dihedral above that is Book of Prophesy Var which does indeed share the anchors for the top of P2 of Sticky Revelations. May 9, 2017

I climbed this shortly after shoulder surgery. Even while still recovering it was quite easy, and easier than a 5.7. Massive jugs and great footing the whole way through except one crimp at the beginning. Nov 24, 2018
