Description

Stellar steep, thin, left-leaning crack. Fingers to thin hands with an offset lip that makes for a good core workout. Good smearing footwork is required but a few thin edges offer respite up higher. Fantastic position with a great ledge for the hecklers to hang below.

Location

The fourth pitch of Imaginary Voyage; climb Sky Pilot or descend from the top of Black Wall.

Protection

Gear to 1", two bolt anchor

This splitter turns out to be harder than short circuit, for just about the same 30' length. Don't underestimate how easy it looks from the ledge. Sep 2, 2013
