An enjoyable way up Wiessner Slab. Abundant holds most of the way, with a brief blank-ish section toward the top. A nice warm-up for Wiessner Crack or Laverado Corner.

The right arete of Wiessner Slab.

Little to no protection, exposed crux.

The second half has no pro if you stay near the arĂȘte. You can move left to the right-facing corner if this bothers you. Belay from the rapp station (static rope) on the large boulder at the top. Nov 17, 2013

Thanks for fixing the protection rating. There's decent protection for the first half, but none on the second; if you blow the crux, you'll blow your ankles for sure. Jul 6, 2015
