The Diagonal
Sep 27, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. P1: started at 7:50, led by Ryan (soaking wet, rained then night before, was dry by the time we got down) P2: Elora led, got a little lost and off route, did not find herself at the bottom of the diagonal P2.5 Ryan moved the belay over to the start of P3. P3. Ryan led. Coolest pitch on the climb, very easy slab, limited gear placements and very runout P4: Elora led. Went straight up a crack instead of out right. Went to the first set of chains instead of the ones on the ledge P5: moved the belay P6: led by Ryan, very short chimney, great holds P7: deceivingly long pitch, also much harder than the rest of the climb. Crack moves, slightly overhanging moves. Might have gone off route due to wet rock
