Description
Exposed, adventurous, and committing traditional climb following fractured flake systems and cracks up & across the NW face. Ref. Steiger's Guide for topo
Starts on the 3rd class ledge beneath Swept Away.
P1: a short pitch. largely unprotected traverse to gain the main crack system. belay where you see fit.
P2: quality flake to crux face beneath blocky roof. gain crack and pull roof to belay above block.
P3: climb aesthetic finger crack up to an exceptional crux, continue up to horizontal weakness beneath Swept Away’s P3 neon dihedral belay. Airy hand traverse straight left and down a bit around the corner, past anchors for Lost in the shower & Catch the Wave to gain the Ma'adim ledge above.
P4: original route continued traversing left past what is now World Class Choss. Either head up a 10+ bulge or continue left to ledge with tree, then up through sketchy lichen covered 5.8 bulges. Not recommended.
