5.10a/b 6a+ 19 VI+ 19 E2 5b 208 ● Space Truckin' Aug 22, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. With Tracy. Didnt really enjoy this like it was hyped up to be. The crack for the first 35 feet or so felt very awkward to me and I ended up liebacking a lot of moves. Then the doing the top offwidth in the sun when dehydrated almost made me throw up. But the crack after the rest ledge and traverse are really cool. I'm sure on top rope this route feels more fun. Felt closer to b than a for me Trad Lake Tahoe > … > Eagle Creek Canyon > Eagle Lake Cliff

Did alternate start, led pitches 1-6, 9, 12. Noah led 7-8, 10-11, 13-15. pitch 6 was definitely the best climbing on the route, so fight your partner for that pitch. The swing was super fun as well, way further than I was anticipating. I can't believe people free that. Definitely bring a tagline to do the dual 70 m raps. We did the single 70 which was straight forward, but took a while due to the sheer number of raps. I can also see how people get lost when rappelling in the dark. It was hard to see some in the light even. Took us about 10 hours including a lunch break on the ledge before the swing. Climb #4 for me completed off the "50 classic climbs of North America" Trad, Aid 16 pitches Yosemite NP > … 1 2 > Royal Arches > Central Royal Arches
