Oct 1, 2025 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Amazing route!! Really fun climb on granite!!! Super fun crux pitch Great friction on this rock, it's a little bit of a hike off the main road, but so worth climbing on excellent rock. I really want to thank Dylan and other folks whose names I don't know that worked hard to build this area and cut a trail to it. Most of us are so fortunate to walk into such areas but I think we need to thank all of those who did this hard work to allow the community to enjoy!

Aug 24, 2025 · Lead. I did this with a partner that was not moving efficiently. Got to the north tower and he was too tired to continue so we had to Rap down. Really fun Climb, I’m going to go back so that I can gain the north tower. Car to car is the way to go. I went back a few weeks later and camped at echo Lake, which was not a good plan because I ended up getting a little altitude sick. So I still wanna go back and just do a car to car fun day.

Dec 21, 2024 · Lead / Redpoint. I didn’t actually do the start, but I will go back (have fresh beta now) and finish this climb. Went up and around a boulder on the left to avoid the spicy start. Started up about 8’ off the ground then fade climbed over to the crack. You can put a .2 in down low for the actual start but I don’t know if it would save you from a ground fall. Very bouldery start. The rest was okay, agree with 1 star. My ego would have me go back to prove not being scared but that’s not the point of climbing for me. It’s about learning and not falling into unhelpful thought patterns(lifelong process), but having fun connecting with nature and community. My ego is not always my amigo.

Dec 20, 2024 · Lead / Onsight. So good!! Move off the ground is hard but there’s good feet and hands on the face up to the main crack of the climb. The crack up is some fingers and some knobs on the face up to a bulge with a spicy overhung move to the top. You can protect the bulge in the back left corner or there might be something on the outside of it a little higher that’s a little better Pro to keep you from being pulled in if you fall. I just placed at the back of the roof and climbed over the rest of it which felt fine once I relaxed Look for crimps on the outside left, it was really fun. Good feet if you just stay aware and breathe.

Dec 16, 2024 · Lead / Onsight. I skipped the bouldery start (more like a 5.10) and started 6’ up by going around the boulder to the left. Really nice left leaning crack that goes up to a flake, good pro all the way up! Put a pro anchor in up high for follower. The walk off is just before the flake ends. You go Climbers ‘s left in a sort of chimney through that. It starts to ease up and there’s some good jugs to climb down but just be careful cause it’s a little bit tricky. Very doable, but it took us a while to find this to send. I ended up having to do it again because my follower who is New could not get down it so I set up an anchor for him to rap on down

My first time back in JT in more than a year, the start was unprotected for about 20’ (I headed up and 5’ or so to the right of the main crack) but once your in the crack it’s so fun. The first part over a slight bulge was a bit nervy for me but protected well. The rest of it was cruiser with bomber placements, perfect jambs and feet all over. So good!

Dec 14, 2024 · Follow. We went up the hard chimney (awkward) just to the right of this (harder) then Ceres left onto this route. Really fun flake to a bit of face climbing with bolts to the anchors. I hung on the face but figured out the moves, really fun. I’ll lead it next time
