A short and stout boulder tucked away in the woods, in between the library parking lot and the cemetery. This rock was named in honor of Leon Botstien, president of the college, whose house is nearby. From the library parking lot, walk north-east to the edge of the parking lot, you should see a paved walkway called kappa path. Walk directly into the woods and continue north, north east. The boulder is about halfway up the hill.
Bard College has an absolutely beautiful campus that is fully open to the public. There are two boulders on the campus that have been developed... although neither one is stellar climbing they are definitely fun to mess around on if you are in the area! Feel free to park in the "Kline" parking lot in the middle of campus, it is a short walk from here to "Admission" boulder or "Bot Rock"
A highball boulder with an awkward ledge in the middle and some flaky bits. From the Fisher Annex walk directly west, through the parking lot to the edge of the woods. About 30 feet into the woods and you will be standing on top of the boulder, walk around ether side to get to the base.
