Friends and Lovers
Nov 2, 2025 · 2 pitches. TR. Two top-rope laps on Friends and Lovers with Bruno after setting up post-Snookys. The route was a bit wet at the crux, but managed to avoid falling. Despite the PG-13/R rating, I’d consider leading this if I can dial the crux beta. On both toprope laps, I did this desperate bump of my right foot before I could reach the small crimps just above the obvious lip in the first 30 feet. If I slipped there, I would have popped off the wall. There’s a crimp compression move just after the first crux without a break for gear. It’s not crazy hard, but it’s super thin and intimidating. I’d feel good backing up the crux with two #0.3-0.4 pieces, which would be at your waist for the first move and probably be adequate to catch a big fall from the second crux. Rest of the route was so fun!

Snooky's Return
Nov 2, 2025 · 1 pitch. Lead. Led pitch 1 with Bruno. Definitely got a better beta this time around, but the moves are still a little spicy right off the deck. Not any reason to stay away though, it just feels scary. Set up a top rope for Friends and Lovers once I got to the top to feel what a lead might be like.

Strictly From Nowhere
Nov 2, 2025 · 3 pitches. Lead. Did a fun 2.5 pitch variation - I led 1st pitch of strictly from nowhere, led the half-pitch through no man’s land (5.4-5.5h to the third pitch of the Ceiling, then Bruno led the Ceiling. Really fun linkup!

Frog's Head
Nov 2, 2025 · Follow. Followed Bruno on our first climb of the day. Super, super fun climb and a very nice lead in the 6-range. We did run into another party on the rap down, since Ribs is a bit busy. I guess both the left and right anchors at the top of Frogs Head are pretty popular.

Middle Earth
Nov 1, 2025 · 1 pitch. Follow. Followed Bruno for the last pitch of our weekend trip. Super fun pitch! Fantastic rock quality, plenty of options for gear, and some really fun moves all at a reasonable difficulty level! Would absolutely do this one again.

Jackie
Oct 5, 2025 · 1 pitch. Follow. Followed Bruno for our last climb of the day, he crushed it - perfect gear throughout. Actually took a fall on this one which surprised me, right near the bottom of the climb - just being sloppy at the end of the day, it was a good reminder to stay dialed no matter the climb or role. Highly recommend this climb, super fun but unfortunately always busy.
