Description Suggest change

Levination (noun): the act of doing first ascents, as recommended by Steve Levin, so he can write them up in time for his new Eldorado Canyon guidebook.

Start at a small roof, as per Escalade, then follow a crack to the large roof overhead. Head left across the roof and up the very steep arête to the lower-angled face above, joining Ichiban Arête to finish.

Double ropes were used on the first ascent to reduce rope drag.

Location Suggest change

Start on Escalade at a small roof with a downward-pointing flake.

Protection Suggest change

RPs, nuts, tiny cams to #2 Camalot, and double ropes and/or long slings.
