Description
This is a description of the re-vamped version of Worp Factor 1! As of September 2023 it has a new start and the bolt was replaced. The climbing on this route is great and it deserves more traffic now that it’s not a death route!
Start on the height of land just right of where the approach trail meets the wall. There is a clean wall with a forked pine tree behind the wall and a right facing corner about 15’ up. Climb the initial face (protected by 000, or first gear at 15’) and follow the corner system until it ends. Climb up and left and then back right under a roof. Pass through this roof on the left hand side and then follow easier terrain up and right until under the roof with the obvious bolt. Get set and jump to the lip, pull the lip using cool pillow slopers and corners. Once standing above the roof climb slabby terrain to a fixed anchor.
