Description
The hardest sport climb on the Pass, Insurrection climbs the directissima up the stunning, slightly overhanging shield of marvelous granite in the center of the Lower Grotto Wall. The climbing is crimpy and continuous but also cerebral and surprisingly gymnastic for a route of this angle. With excellent rock, engaging movement and spectacular position, Insurrection is an outstanding hard face climb.
Location
It is located 20 feet right of Knuckle Head, a few feet northeast of the old, dead snag at the base of the Lower Grotto Wall.
