● Land Before Time
Jan 2, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. After ~1hr approach and 1300ft of gain, we ran into the same climbers from Cali that we partnered with on Birdland a few days earlier. Made for a fun day following them. They climbed as a group of 3 using normal leader & follower but also a TRS setup. Swinging leads with Charlie I led P2,4,6 which I would deem P2,4 the “harder” pitches. Overall a choss filled route especially in P4 making a difficult crux. On P5 Charlie broke a block off and took a safe fall after being chased up the route by some locals. Good route for post rain adventure plus good gear plan bringing 10 alpines, 8 quickdraws; at one point I only had 3 left. Descent was a short walk east into 4th class hike to the rappel line. The line was cut to the millimeter making your feet just touch the ground
