Way Hammered
May 31, 2026 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Sent low crux first go, knee bar shake, lower side of right pinch with thumb. Mono stack left hand pinch. Higher left foot, high foot out right, throw for odd top pinch hold with right, reset feet and left up to potato. Clip. Middle part is still a mystery. High clipped off of a terrible mono-ish pinch. Good candidate for a dogbone extension. Top part is sequential, but good enough. Some side pulls out left and the awkward right triangle pinch has a good edge deeper in there.

The Standard Thumb
May 25, 2026 · 8 pitches. Lead. Indecent Exposure variation. The squeeze chimney was way burly. I knew it would be hard, but still surprised me. I’m no great judge of that style, but 5.6 feels quite sandbagged. The wind came in near the time we were summiting, and all funneled right into the stepover move. Gusts probably up to 50mph. Made it feel intense and epic. Memorable climb for sure, super enjoyable till the chimney. That took a lot out of us, then the rest of the climb is kinda forgettable and drags on a bit until the summit. With Nate.
