I love the crisp smell of the pine tree forests on Lemmon during the summer. I love the embrace of the riparian humidity in the canyons of Arizona, and the simplicity of being away from the unnatural noise, straight lines, and general craziness of the city. From the time I could walk, I have been hiking, camping, swimming, skiing, biking, etc, and I haven't stopped since. As for climbing, I started on the sandstone cliffs of northeast Ohio. I was hooked from the first time I untied my figure eight knot. I prefer climbing big rocks, but the exact genre of climbing doesn't really matter to me - bouldering, sport, or trad - get me on the rock, and I’ll be happy.
