Description
This crag hosts some quintessential Mt. Lemmon sport climbing. Most of the climbs are 70-90 ft. long on vertical to overhung terrain. The gully makes for a shady and cold spot for most of the day, which means that when its cold at some of the sunny crags of Windy Point it'll seem colder here. You could also likely climb here in the summer if you plan for the right time of day (similar to New Wave Wall).
Getting There
***Edit:
The description is incorrect. When parked at the pullout, you do NOT descend the gully on the NORTH side of the Goosehead (between Goosehead and the road). That trail takes you down to the K12 crag.
Walk to the uphill (East) end of the pullout, hop the rail, and descend down and the to the right, which is between Goosehead SOUTH side and Knights wall. You'll arrive into the top of Knights crag immediately.
When headed up the mountain use the pullout just past the Goosehead formation. Hop the railing and descend the gully on the north side of the Goosehead. There are routes on both sides of Knight's Wall.
Take care when descending the gully as there is plenty of loose rock, dead wood/ leaves, and construction debris making for a slippery descent to where the routes begin.
This approach takes 5-10 mins.
