Description Suggest change

Jeff Lowe and I also did a pitch that starts right of King's X.Jeff climbed up to where the current route "The Lion" starts. He worked on the first part of "The Lion," and after climbing up and down several times, he decided that it was a bit too runout. He then proceeded to traverse over to "King's X" and finished up that climb. I followed him up without any taints. He was guiding me at the time. He had also recently acquired some "Friends " and wanted to try them out on the hanging flakes that are featured on "Black Wind". Other guidebooks did not mention this history. He may have gone back with Henry Barber to repeat the route and work on "The Lion;" again.

Location Suggest change

Protection Suggest change

Bring a #9 hex for the traverse into "King's X".
