Featured Trad, Sport, Bouldering, and other popular climbing routes and climbing areas Clackamas, Oregon.
River crag in the Mary S. Young Park in West Linn Oregon Park in either parking lot in Mary S. Young Park. After parking follow the main paved path down until it veers right at the split, continue following the paved path until you see the off-leash pet exercise area. Take that path to the off leash dog beach and you'll see the boulders on the left side of the beach near the river. The boulders are only climbable during the lower water level/dry seasons and will most likely be submerged during higher water level seasons.
A relatively-isolated boulder with a handful of climbs ranging from V0 to V7. Most climbs are sit starts that pull over a bulge and finish on a slab. Walk to the SW corner of the parking lot and look for the boulder with owl eyes painted on it (Yosemite Sam boulder in the Bernert Williams guide). Follow a faint trail behind the last parking spot, roughly 20’ right of the owl-eye boulder. The trail is ~100’ long. It heads downhill and takes a right turn to arrive at the mantle boulder.
A broken boulder tucked away in the far right side of the Main Forest. Has some decent warm up lines. Keep trending right from the Yosemite Boulder, the trail will eventually lead you to this boulder.
